ABOUT

My Practice and methodologies are closely intertwined and represented as a ‘visual archive’

These are archives of ideas, collections, samples, and written research often relating to historical data, techniques and narrative alongside documentation of process and materials. They sit together as a collective and a body of work that intertwine and engage – this cyclical process of material, process and thought evolve as traces, textures, marks and colour combinations. I seek to keep practicality and recycling at the heart of the work with a preference for low tech methods and modest materials.

My practice is a constant work in progress, a visual research diary where documentation and cataloging stimulate numerous possibilities and potentials. Exploring traditional archive formats of boxes, sample books and rolls wrapped with textile and tissue ensures the essence of precious materiality is present ,initiating a curiosity to unwrap, unfold, engage and explore.
